LESSON 3

SPIRITUAL PREPARATION

1 Peter 1:16–“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

Prepare spiritually to do spiritual work. Techniques, abilities, and even opportunities all are rendered ineffective if God doesn’t have a clean, spirit-led vessel to use.

1.         Pray for souls.

2.         Confess sin and strive to be above reproach in all relationships.

3.         Ask for (many times daily) the Power of God.

4.         Yield (many times daily) to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Ask God to direct you to the lost and to prepare their heart for His truth.

5.         Remember your personal salvation experience.
