II. GOD CALLS US TO INCREASE OUR FAITH.

A. He Calls Us To Believe Him For That Which Seems Impossible. (Genesis 17:16-17; 18:14)

B. He Calls Us To Believe Him For That Which Has Never Happened Before. (Genesis 22:1-2)

III. GOD CALLS US TO TEACH OUR FAITH TO OUR CHILDREN.

(GENESIS 22:7-8)

A. Do You Think Isaac Knew About His Miracle Birth?

I can imagine that Abraham and Sarah rehearsed it in his ears on a regular basis.

We must tell our children of how God worked in our lives in times past.

B. Do You Think Isaac Might Have Been Concerned About Being Offered?

We are not given much of the conversation between him and his father, but no doubt there were concerns voiced on Isaac’s part.

We must teach our children to live by faith in the present.

IV. OUR FAITH CAN BE A LASTING LEGACY TO OUR FAMILY.
